Louis Vuitton F/W 2012 Menswear

There’s a reason why Kim Jones was crowned best menswear in 2006 and 2009 and there’s a reason why he was named Louis Vuitton’s style director for mens RTW.

Menswear at Louis Vuitton has taken a dramatic turn for the better over the past two seasons relieving itself of its safe professional aesthetic and turned to a beautiful hybrid of rugged and preppy styling that is perfectly encapsulated in the brand’s superior quality and craftsmanship.

The F/W collection provides a very manly look with patchwork, bold patterns and textures as well as daring and innovative styling which aims to transform the everyday communal gentleman into a rugged modern day urbanite.

It’s this type of collection that sets Louis Vuitton apart and if you’ve seen Kim Jones’ next collection then you’ll know they’re showing no signs of slowing down.
