I was browsing Hermes’ online store hoping to find a viable (and hopefully affordable) Christmas gift for my mom when I found my self looking through the men’s scarves section (for God knows what reason, not like I actually need a scarf with the weather just turning a tolerable room temperature-esque degree) and stumbled upon this rather fascinating piece of Cashmere.
The Pure Musique is a plain yet handsome looking piece of neckwear that comes with an unexpected bonus of a small zipper enclosed compartment for your MP3 player. What’s surprising about it is the fact that you can thread your ear phones through the scarf itself to avoid having a tangled noose inducing mess around your neck. It’s a really interesting piece and something I really did not expect from a hard-based-on-its-equestrian-roots brand such as Hermes. The price tag in itself is enough to turn me off from this ingloriously unnecessary purchase but it’s still an nice find.
