“From the embossed leather pedal straps and mallet holders, to the machined chainring (by Victoire), etched barplugs, via the leather wheel cover, culminating with a spectacular hollowed out mallet head, attached to a fully wrapped shaft. All of it using the classic Vuitton patterns and shapes.”

Introducing: The House of Montague Footwear

I think I just found the holy grail of high quality casual sneakers (one that doesn’t come with an insanely pocket sink hold drilling price tag of course). Danish brand House of Montague wows with it’s line of sneakers for Spring Summer 2012. The beautiful simple designs not only bring a chic and frickin’ hype back to the traditional moccasin but also provides an amazing variation to the classic high top sneaker. This is definitely a brand worth checking out.

For more looks from their epic collection you can head on to: Coute Que Coute or their official website The House of Montague

The Magic 8 Ball Pen

“Remember that magic black ball from your childhood? You know the one you could ask questions and turn over to see an answer float into view? Fast forward to 2011, and the Magic 8 Ball has morphed into a pen amazingly with the same wisdom, but much more hipper…and so much easier to carry with you. So for those times when you just can’t seem to decide what to do, if you should skip work today and go to a ball game instead, simply click your way to get an unbiased and emotionally detached second opinion. The sayings on this Predict A Pen are decidedly “guy” oriented: Not For A Million Dollars; Dude, No Way; Hell Yeah! If You’re Lucky; It’s Unclear, Ask Again; Without A Doubt.”

Chanel Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld recently debuted his new exhibition, titled “Christmas: Dreams of Far Away,” at the famous Printemps store in Paris. Consisting of 11 window displays all conceived by the creative genius and even the fashion house itself, the inspiration of the exhibition was sourced from Chanel’s prolific history which includes the legendary destinations that have been part of its seasonal developments. The lineup of destinations included Los Angeles, London, Paris, New York, the Byzantium, Biarritz, Moscow, Venice, Shanghai, Tokyo and the Cap d”Antibes. Paris was represented by Lagerfeld as his photographic works are scattered throughout along with Jean-Claude Dehix designed marionettes immortalizing him. Furthermore, some of Paris’ well-known landmarks have been depicted as well, including the Eiffel Tower, the Place Vendôme, the Arc de Triomphe and the Printemps store itself. Covering the façade with stellar aesthetics, Printemps’ stunning architectural design was also highlighted by some of Chanel’s signature details.
